How It Works
Every family's journey is different. Here's what you can typically expect when we work together.
Initial Assessment
We begin with a meeting to get to know you and your child. I'll conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your child's current skills, strengths, and areas for development. This forms the foundation of everything that follows.
Programme Design & Workshop
Once the assessment is complete, I design a personalised programme for your child. I'll then run a workshop to walk you through how to implement it confidently. You'll receive data sheets, notes, and all resources within a week.
Ongoing Therapy & Training
For families receiving one session per week, I recommend weekly training for the first 6 weeks to build your confidence with the strategies. Sessions can be in person or online, and training is faded out gradually as you feel more assured.
Review & Progress
Where additional therapists are involved, I provide their training and oversee programme implementation. Regular workshops allow us to review data, update targets, and make sure your child's programme continues to reflect their progress and evolving needs.
Policies
🔄 Cancellations & Rescheduling
I understand that life with children can be unpredictable. I aim to be as flexible as possible and will always try to accommodate changes. If cancellations become frequent, we'll discuss a 24-hour notice arrangement together — any changes are always agreed in advance.
🤒 Illness
If your child or a household member is unwell, please let me know as soon as possible so we can reschedule. As I support multiple families including vulnerable individuals, minimising health risks helps me to maintain consistent services for everyone.
